Crazy really, I remember Ratnaguna from Sangha Nights at the Manchester Buddhist Centre way back in 2010, I was maybe 16 at the time and his teaching left quite an impression on me, here I am at 30 and just coming back to the Dharma after something of a "crisis of faith" (or more accurately I had some problems in my teen years/early 20s and I'm just over the fallout from them now) and one of the first things I'm recommended is this. Ratnaguna, in the unlikely event you ever see this comment I just want to say thank you for your compassion, your wisdom and your teaching of the Dharma to me. perhaps one day our paths will cross again.

Evrithings posible to get from damma. Lord buddha's never want make religion's. The teachings are all about things lord the chief science teacher ever forever 🙏🙏🙏 in this whole world. Yeah I'm prochoice in the sense that I can see women having free access to public health care is only way of keeping it safe and out of the backstreets! ironically I also believe in universal medically assistanced suicide and that's a massive no no in Buddhist teachings but I think all the same arguments apply in both cases as it a least minimises the suffering of all involved how is me ending myown life anymore tragic than the loss of the unlimited potential of a unborn life!
